General Policies
Our Commitment to Clear Communication
At Mid-Atlantic Gymnastics Center, we believe that families deserve clear, transparent communication regarding our programs and policies. Our goal is to create a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for every student while ensuring expectations are understood from the beginning.
The policies below summarize the general guidelines that apply to our programs. Because every situation is unique, some circumstances may be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions regarding a specific situation, we encourage you to contact our office—we're always happy to help.
Please note that our Participant Waiver and Release Agreement contains our complete policies, safety procedures, and terms of participation. In the event of any discrepancy, the signed waiver shall govern.
Make-Up Policy
We understand that students occasionally miss class due to illness or scheduling conflicts. To help families, Mid-Atlantic Gymnastics Center offers make-up opportunities under the following guidelines:
Students may receive up to two in-class make-up classes per session, subject to availability.
Additional missed classes may be eligible for an Open Gym make-up, when available.
To qualify, absences must be reported at least one hour before the scheduled class by email.
Missed make-up classes cannot be rescheduled.
Make-up classes must generally be used during the same session and cannot be carried into future sessions unless approved by management.
Private lessons, birthday parties, and Open Gym admissions are not eligible for make-up classes.
Missed classes are not eligible for refunds, credits, or prorated tuition.
Tuition, Withdrawals & Refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. Our withdrawal policy is designed to be fair while allowing us to properly staff and schedule classes.
Withdrawals made before or during the first week of a session are eligible for a 50% tuition refund.
No tuition refunds are available after the first week of the session.
All approved refunds are subject to a $35 administrative refund fee.
Withdrawal requests must be submitted by email.
Payment & Card Processing
A 3.5% processing fee is applied to all credit and debit card transactions to help offset payment processing costs.
The processing fee is displayed before payment is completed.
